Pay Less For Beautiful Skin
The female race can spend hundreds of pounds a year on skin care products so that they look their very best.
Skincare do not need to cost the earth in order to be effective though. In fact, there are some bargain products out there that work fantastically for common skin ailments.
Let me tell you more¦
Vaseline - Most people know just how good this wonder product is for chapped lips but did you also know that it adds lots of moisture to skin when you mix a little with your favourite moisturiser or face cream? Great in the winter season when conditions can dry out skin. Cost: From 99p.
Morrison’s ‘Knock your spots off’ face cream:A bargain at just £1.99, this moisturiser soothes your skin but also contains antibacterial agents, making it excellent for spot breakouts and acne – a “got to have it!” item!
Bepanthen - AKA nappy cream is also a great product to heal spots. Established brands like Sudocream will cost you a couple of quid but a little goes a long way (and you don’t want to use too much because you’ll end up looking like a ghost!) Cost: Around £2.50 for a small pot.
Baby bottom wipes: Great for removing make up and cleaning your skin in a rush. A pack will usually set you back less than a pound too! I like using one on my face after I have had cigarette (dirty habit!) as chemicals are not left on my skin to dwell.
Home spa / face packs: There are plenty of recipes for these online and most comprise fruit as a main ingredient – and whose skin doesn’t love a boost of energizing, refreshing Vitamin C?
If you want to treat a loved one to a beauty product however, it will look better to treat them to a branded product or a spa voucher instead of a supersize tub of Vaseline!
