Skin Needling Rollers
Until recently Micro-Needling has been a costly procedure requiring you to visit a doctor; however Skin Needling has now become common factor of daily life in many average house holds. The Dermaroller is a hand held device with numerous gama sterilized microscopic needles which, {when rolled over the epidermis}, delicately separate the pores of the epidermis (top layer of skin) and activate the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen is crucial for skin to heal to a cosmetic level
It is this additional collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the primary cause of the development of skin problems including stretch marks and scarring is that there is not enough|there is a lack of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin returns to its original smooth and firm state. When an injury occurs, such as a graze, the skin heals itself enough to stay healthy; however the skin doesn’t recognise that scars are undesirable.
In order to remove stretch marks, scarring and face wrikles, the skin needs to think that there is reason to start healing producing more collagen and elastin, skin needling achieves this by carefully opeing the pores of the epidermis giving the impression of the skin being damaged and needing to be repaired. Repeating the process of Microneedling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.
Is a Dermaroller the best option?
Compared to other methods (and when done at home), Skin Needling is much economic and more productive then therapies such as only using creams because the skin only absorbs a small percentage of creams applied, however when applied within an hour of using the skin needling roller the creams are absorbed a lot better as the pores are open.
Micro Needling can be used to treat a wide range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc
