Looking Younger With Celebrity Plastic Surgery
From liposuction to rhinoplasty, breast implants to face lifts and eyelid surgery to Botox, the Hollywood machine keeps the celebrity plastic surgery business alive and well in New York and Los Angeles. From Jennifer Aniston’s pert little nose to Lisa Rinna’s over-inflated lips, celebrities are visible examples of cosmetic surgery enhancements and shortcomings. The monetary gains and unparalleled opportunities afforded to celebrities living in the limelight can be advantageous and disastrous.
The average citizen loves celebrities and some even want to look and act like them. Just open any woman’s magazine and you will find similar clothing suggestions from sweaters, tops, shoes, jewelry, dresses and jeans urging the reader to purchase these items so that they can look like a celebrity. There are magazines filled with celebrity hairstyles to copycat. Buying similar clothing and styling your hair to emulate a celebrity is just a small step away from emulating celebrity plastic surgery.
Media personalities reach their level of success and fame by being attractive, charming and smart. With their money and their prestige, they can be very manipulative and convincing in order to get what they want. That is why it is hard for cosmetic surgeons to say no to a celebrity. Surgeons want to say yes; they want to satisfy the important person that is making a request from them.
Just as celebrities stand before the public to be emulated, like the rest of us, they too are not immune from making bad plastic surgery decisions. They have no special wisdom that comes along with their fame. Just like the average citizen, they may not do enough research to find the most talented cosmetic surgeon for their particular needs. Sometimes they rely on a manager or hired hand to do the search for them. Away from the studio, they have no super powers or divine knowledge that can lead them to the right plastic surgeon. Just like the rest of us, they need to do their homework.
Aging with grace and style has been compromised with the advent of procedures that paralyze and plump and how they irresistibly draw people in. Do the procedures really help people look younger and healthier? Does the wrinkle-free smooth skin as a feature of celebrity plastic surgery equate youthfulness? Not when it is attached to an obviously sixty-year-old woman. Name a sign of aging and there is probably a fix for it at your local plastic surgery center.
